Role Overview
Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced hands-on Utility Applications Technical Architect for BC Hydro’s Generation application portfolio.
The role provides application architecture, technical support, integrations, modernization, and solution design across utility applications.
The architect will work with BC Hydro stakeholders, architects, delivery teams, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors.
AMS Technical Support and Improvement
- Support incident, problem, change, and release management processes in accordance with application management services standards.
- Lead root cause analysis, critical incident escalation, operational automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve service quality, application stability, reliability, performance, and technical debt management.
Integration and Solution Design
- Analyze complex application, data, and interface issues across interconnected systems.
- Design and oversee integrations between enterprise applications, operational systems, middleware, databases, and cloud services.
- Define secure, reliable, and scalable API, data exchange, and integration patterns.
