Role overview
Capgemini Engineering is expanding its Connectivity & Network Engineering team for mission-critical telecom transformation.
The role provides architecture and technical leadership for private mobile core network platforms.
The role serves as the principal technical authority across EPC, 5G Core, and IMS domains.
Core responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end mobile core solutions across EPC, 5G Core, and IMS, including subscriber management, policy and charging, and gateway functions.
- Define capacity planning, redundancy, geo-resilience, availability, and performance strategies.
- Lead multi-vendor integration across RAN, transport, OSS, MCX, and security domains.
- Produce HLD, LLD, operational runbook, and technical reference architecture documentation.
- Manage vendor technical relationships, evaluate capabilities, and influence technology roadmaps.
- Lead customer engagement and present architectural recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor core network engineering teams.
- Support deployment, optimization, acceptance, performance, and operational readiness activities.
Required profile
- 12+ years of telecom core network architecture experience is required.
