Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boilers, steam systems, refrigeration systems, air compressors, chilled water systems, and HVAC equipment
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities required for dairy processing operations
- Record operating parameters and maintain utility logs
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on utility equipment
- Diagnose equipment faults and utility system failures; perform corrective maintenance and emergency repairs
- Operate water treatment and wastewater treatment systems; monitor water quality parameters and chemical dosing systems
- Monitor utility consumption and identify opportunities for energy conservation and efficiency improvements
- Follow food safety requirements, GMP, HACCP, and company hygiene standards; adhere to safety procedures

- Adherence to lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, and permit to work procedures

Utility Systems Operation
- Operate and monitor boilers, steam systems, refrigeration systems, air compressors, chilled water systems, and HVAC equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities required for dairy processing operations.
- Record operating parameters and maintain utility logs.
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on utility equipment.
- Lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace components as required.
- Follow maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Diagnose equipment faults and utility system failures.
- Perform corrective maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
Water and Wastewater Management
- Operate water treatment and wastewater treatment systems.
- Monitor water quality parameters and chemical dosing systems.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
Energy Management
- Monitor utility consumption including electricity, water, steam, compressed air, and refrigeration.
- Identify opportunities for energy conservation and efficiency improvements.
- Support utility cost reduction initiatives.
Safety and Compliance
- Follow food safety requirements, GMP, HACCP, and company hygiene standards.
- Adhere to lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, and permit to work procedures.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.
