Role Overview

SOSi is seeking a UI/UX Designer to support design, research, and development plans for a sponsor's applications.

The role uses UI/UX design principles, human-centered design, and user research to create intuitive digital experiences.

The position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Duties

  • Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Create user personas, user flows, and wireframes to inform design decisions.
  • Develop a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the sponsor's digital assets.
  • Design interface elements such as navigation menus, search boxes, and calls to action.
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes and test designs to validate user experience.
  • Collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and sponsor representatives to meet design requirements.
  • Provide guidance on UX research methodologies and testing activities.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging UI/UX technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • Professional experience with user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Proficiency with UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma and Axure.
  • Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and design thinking.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
  • Experience with design systems and style guides.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile and web application design, including responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with the sponsor's existing design systems and brand guidelines.
  • Knowledge of emerging UI/UX trends and technologies such as AR/VR and voice UI.
  • Experience with usability testing and user feedback analysis.
