About the Role
Mashreq seeks a Senior Counter Services Specialist Teller to manage cash counter transactions at a branch in Abu Dhabi. The role requires accurate processing, risk management, and customer service.

Responsibilities
- Manage cash counter transactions of a branch with a customer base between >7K
- Process all counter transactions accurately and swiftly in accordance with laid down procedures
- Strive towards reducing waiting time and serving time
- Ensure zero risk of cash differences by diligently processing all cash transactions
- Be vigilant and alert to any possible fraud and risks
- Adhere to transactions limit, override approval and call back processes
- Investigate any differences in balancing and reconciliation of cash and other security items
- Assist CSM in handling day to day transactional and branch related activities
- Cross sells MMC and other products
Requirements
- 3 4 years of experience as a teller within banking industry
- In depth knowledge of counter related and dependent process
- Basic accounting and reporting knowledge
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle pressure
- Detail oriented, quick with numbers, very vigilant
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Purpose
- To perform all financial transactions in risk free manner while maintaining the set service standards always.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cash counter transactions of a branch with a customer base between >7K, portfolio size of AED 100M in assets and 200M in liabilities.
- Process all counter transactions accurately and swiftly.
- Strive towards reducing waiting time and serving time.
- Ensure zero risk of cash differences.
- Be vigilant and alert to any possible fraud and risks.
- Adhere to transactions limit, override approval and call back processes.
- Errors free transactional report checking.
- Investigate any differences in balancing and reconciliation.
- Adhere to all policies and processes.
- Assist CSM in handling day to day activities.
- Cross sells MMC and other products.
- Ensure proper custodianship of all security items.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- In depth knowledge of counter related and dependent process.
- Basic accounting and reporting knowledge.
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle pressure.
- Detail oriented, quick with numbers, very vigilant.
