About the Role
Starlink Qatar is looking for a Treasury Analyst to perform accurate and timely reconciliation of financial transactions across all major payment channels. Responsibilities
- Perform hands on reconciliations across all major payment channels, including cash, cheques, cards, and bank transfers
- Execute the full range of reconciliation types — bank reconciliation, account and ledger reconciliation, suspense and clearing account reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation, and exception/break management
- Identify, investigate, and independently resolve reconciliation differences, ensuring timely clearance of outstanding items and breaks
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the full range of payment types and end to end payment flows to ensure accurate matching and settlement
- Manage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, articulating financial insights and reconciliation outcomes clearly
- Coordinate directly with banking partners on settlements, queries, and discrepancies
- Work closely with IT teams on system issues, process automation, and data and reporting requirements
- Analyse transaction data to detect anomalies, root causes of breaks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Support the strengthening of internal controls and the accuracy of treasury reporting through diligent investigation and documentation
Requirements
- Extensive background in treasury operations, complex bank transaction management, and financial reconciliation
- Proven, hands on expertise in performing reconciliations across cash, cheques, cards, and bank transfers
- Strong working knowledge of all reconciliation types and a solid understanding of payment types and end to end payment flows
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve reconciliation differences independently
- Confident stakeholder management and professional communication skills
- Comfortable coordinating directly with banks and collaborating with IT teams on systems, automation, and reporting
- Relevant experience within a banking, telecom, or large corporate treasury/finance environment is preferred
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is desirable

Role Overview
- The Treasury Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely reconciliation of financial transactions across all major payment channels, ensuring the integrity of treasury operations and the prompt resolution of discrepancies.
- This is a high level analytical position requiring deep, hands on expertise in treasury operations, complex bank transaction management, and end to end financial reconciliation.
- It is an investigative and analytical role rather than an administrative or clerical one, and demands sound judgement, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving exceptions.
