About the Role

- Contribute to delivery of transport and mobility projects across Riyadh and the Middle East
- Take ownership of defined tasks and technical workstreams, producing robust analysis and recommendations
- Provide technical input across transport planning assignments including master plans, strategic studies, access and parking assessments
- Support development of strategic advice for clients on transport related solutions
- Prepare high quality technical reports, presentations and client facing outputs
- Build effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams
- Support business development and work winning activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, transport planning or related field
- 3+ years of experience in transport planning in the Middle East
- Working knowledge of GIS, VISSIM, VISUM, Synchro and Sidra
- Strong understanding of core transport planning principles
- Ability to manage assigned tasks and technical workstreams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to take initiative and solve problems

Your key duties
- Contribute to the successful delivery of transport and mobility projects across Riyadh and the wider Middle East.
- Take ownership of defined tasks and technical workstreams, with responsibility for producing robust analysis, clear recommendations and well structured deliverables.
- Provide technical input across transport planning assignments, including transport master plans, strategic transport studies, access and parking assessments, and mobility advisory projects.
- Support the development of strategic advice for clients and stakeholders on transport related solutions.
- Prepare high quality technical reports, presentations and other client facing outputs.
- Build effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to a high performing team culture by demonstrating initiative, curiosity, accountability, responsiveness and a willingness to learn.
- Support business development and work winning activities through research, proposal inputs, presentation materials and market awareness.
Your Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, transport planning or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in transport planning, with experience contributing to a range of transport projects in the Middle East.
- Working knowledge of transport related software and programmes, including GIS, VISSIM, VISUM, Synchro and Sidra.
- Strong understanding of core transport planning principles, with an interest in future mobility and emerging transport technologies.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks and technical workstreams with appropriate supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to take initiative, solve problems and contribute positively within a fast paced, high performing team.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently on defined tasks and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to prioritise workload, manage competing deadlines and respond effectively under pressure.
- A proactive and professional attitude, with a strong desire to develop into a trusted consultant and future project leader.
