Responsibilities
- Leading the design and delivery of building structures projects, ensuring technical quality and alignment with client and sustainability objectives.
- Applying advanced structural analysis and design skills using software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RAM Concept, and Robot.
- Preparing design reports, technical specifications, and presentations.
- Coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural solutions seamlessly within the overall design.
- Reviewing and supervising work by junior engineers and providing mentorship.
- Engaging in peer reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of technical delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's level preferred)
- Chartered or working towards chartership with a recognized body (e.g., IStructE, ICE)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in structural engineering design within a consultancy environment
- Proficiency in relevant design and analysis tools (ETABS, Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, Tekla, etc.)
- Strong understanding of regional and international codes and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for innovation, sustainability, and delivering elegant and efficient engineering solutions
- Professional proficiency in English and Arabic
