Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage day-to-day transport operations and vehicle scheduling
- Supervise drivers and transport staff to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor fleet performance, maintenance, and fuel usage
- Ensure timely deliveries and efficient route planning
- Maintain compliance with UAE transport laws, safety standards, and company policies
- Coordinate with internal teams such as warehouse and logistics
- Manage transport-related documentation (vehicle registration, insurance, permits)
- Track operational costs and implement cost-control measures
- Handle operational issues, delays, and driver concerns
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in transport or fleet management
- Strong understanding of UAE transport regulations and road networks
- Experience managing commercial vehicles (trucks, trailers, etc.)
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office or similar tools)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, construction, or building materials industry
- Familiarity with GPS tracking or fleet management systems
- UAE driving license (preferred)
