Role description
The Training and Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mecca.
The role focuses on identifying employee training needs, overseeing training programs, and improving workforce efficiency across the organization.
Training operations
- Analyze training requirements using performance appraisals and update training needs analysis forms.
- Review the annual training plan and supervise the design and execution of training curricula.
- Coordinate internal and external training with department leaders and the manufacturing plant.
- Prepare training plans, budgets, and operational schedules.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and institutional performance.
- Track employee enrollment, coordinate financial settlements, and prepare operational statistics and reports.
- Promote continuous learning and compliance within the facility.
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a listed relevant field with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a relevant master’s degree with 2 years of experience.
- Hold an accredited trainer certification or Certified Trainer credential.
- Have experience planning and delivering structured learning programs.
- Have knowledge of training operations, planning, budgeting, and scheduling methodologies.
- Have communication, coordination, instructional design, curriculum development, computer, and reporting skills.
- Have professional proficiency in English.
- Work collaboratively, evaluate and develop performance, and adapt training for different roles and levels.
Preferred experience
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or water and food production environments is beneficial.
