Role Description
Full-time, on-site Purchasing Officer role based in Jeddah.
Manage end-to-end procurement activities supporting production and operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Review and process purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services from approved suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier offers and participate in contract negotiations.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records according to company policies and quality standards.
- Analyze pricing, lead times, supplier performance, and inventory requirements.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and finance teams.
- Optimize costs while maintaining reliable supply.
- Follow internal controls and regulatory requirements and improve purchasing processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of relevant purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
- Strong knowledge of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Supplier contract negotiation experience.
- Analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance, pricing, and inventory requirements.
- Manufacturing or FMCG procurement experience, ideally in food or beverage, is preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP or purchasing systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and collaborative working ability.
