Role Overview
The Cost Accountant will manage and analyze cost-related financial data at MAKKAH WATER SAFA.
The role supports decision-making, operational efficiency, cost control, and coordination with plant and office teams in Jeddah.
This is a full-time, on-site role.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain cost records and analyze production and distribution costs.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities and assist with pricing decisions based on cost analysis.
- Prepare and review cost-related journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support financial statement preparation.
- Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to track variances and improve cost control.
- Provide accurate and timely financial and cost information to plant and office teams.
Qualifications
- Strong cost accounting skills, including cost allocation, variance analysis, and standard costing.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting financial statements and management reports.
- Experience with journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing activities.
- Knowledge of finance principles, budgeting, and forecasting in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least four years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in Accounting with at least two years of relevant experience.
