Role Summary

  • The Training and Competence Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all operational, HSE, marine and legislative training and competence requirements for employees while maintaining appropriate records.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with key onshore and offshore personnel to manage training and competence compliance
  • Coordinate training courses in relation to training matrix and expiry reporting
  • Arrange course related travel and accommodation for personnel
  • Maintain all training records within HRIS and personnel filing system
  • Verify qualifications/documentation for new hire and ad hoc personnel
  • Ensure Minimum Safe Manning Licenses requirements are compliant
  • Produce monthly Training and Competence reports
  • Support formulation of training policies, programs, and schedules

Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid offshore survival and pre mobilisation certification (BOSIET, MIST, CA EBS)
  • College degree and/or Competency based qualification
  • Proven operational experience in training and competency within Oil & Gas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft and HRIS
