Responsibilities
- Safely operate trailers and heavy vehicles to transport goods/materials.
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo to designated locations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip sheets, and fuel records.
- Assist with loading and unloading when required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams for scheduling.
Requirements
- Valid heavy vehicle driving license (Trailer/Heavy Truck).
- Proven experience as a trailer driver or in heavy vehicle operations.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
- Ability to handle long-distance driving and flexible working hours.
- Physically fit to manage loading/unloading tasks if needed.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
