Job Overview

Principal and Commercial Finance

• Act as the primary finance point of contact for principals, key account managers, receivables and payables teams, and support functions.
• Validate principal claimable bonuses against approved commercial and marketing agreements.
• Prepare, review, and submit monthly A&P and promotional claims to principals.
• Escalate and resolve contractual, financial, and operational issues linked to principals and key customers.

Budget Control and Analysis

• Monitor and control A&P budgets against approved plans and agreements.
• Prepare financial performance reports covering budget utilization, balances, risks, and operational challenges.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Build professional relationships with principals and key account managers.
• Address financial and commercial queries proactively.
• Work with Trade Marketing, E-commerce, Credit Control, and Finance to resolve claim-related and commercial issues.

Principal Affairs

• Coordinate principal points of contact.
• Ensure timely closure of principal-related actions with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate the issuance of credit notes with the finance team and communicate approved claims and commercial adjustments.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales coordination, trade marketing support, commercial finance, principal affairs, or customer account support.
• Strong financial, numerical, reconciliation, and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of A&P budgets, promotional claims, credit notes, principal debit notes, and commercial agreements.

Technical and Professional Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and business reporting.
• SAP, project, or WBS knowledge is an advantage.
• High attention to detail, ownership, and ability to follow through with multiple stakeholders.
