Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate residential care and monitor the elderly person throughout the night.
- Assist with mobility, walking, transfers, positioning, personal care, toileting, and daily living activities.
- Monitor wellbeing, communicate changes, and support medication routines within the candidate's scope.
- Provide companionship and emotional support and maintain a safe, clean, comfortable environment.
- Follow family instructions, care plans, and medical guidance.
- Communicate with family members and maintain records or handover notes when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Nursing, Nursing Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Caregiver, or equivalent qualification.
- Professional elderly-care or geriatric-care experience is essential.
- Private residence, home-care, long-term-care, or similar experience is highly preferred.
- Overnight-care experience is an advantage.
- Good spoken English and clear communication with the family are required.
- Applicants should be calm, patient, caring, trustworthy, emotionally mature, and able to work independently.
