Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate prelaunch and launch planning and execution for Tozorakimab across international markets
- Design the regional medical strategy and co create the regional brand strategy with the Commercial lead
- Provide expert medical input to Regional Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access
- Enable and influence country medical teams through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing
- Develop and oversee above country evidence generation, external medical education, and insight gathering programs
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key external experts
- Drive collaboration with global and regional teams
- Provide timely medical expertise and stay current on scientific, clinical, and competitor developments
- Ensure all activities uphold AstraZeneca Policies and Standards
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a scientific discipline; preferably M.D., Pharm.D., or Ph.D.
- 8+ years of experience in medical affairs including country and leadership experience of strategic medical planning, launch planning and execution
- Proven track record of working and influencing without authority within a matrix organization
- Solid experience in team management and project management
- Therapy area knowledge/experience in biologics
- Extensive experience in collaboration with external parties and managing cross functional and cross cultural teams
- Solid business understanding and acumen
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance framework

Essential Skills / Experience
- Advanced degree in a scientific discipline; preferably M.D., Pharm.D., or Ph.D.
