About the Role

- Operate tower cranes to lift, move, and position construction materials
- Perform daily pre operation inspections of the crane and report any defects or maintenance needs
- Interpret load charts to determine safe lifting capacities
- Coordinate with riggers, signalers, and site supervisors using standard hand signals and radio communication
- Monitor weather conditions and suspend operations when conditions become unsafe
- Ensure loads are properly rigged and balanced before lifting
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and lifting activities
- Assist with crane setup, climbing, dismantling, or relocation when required
- Keep the work area clean and free of hazards
Requirements
- Valid Tower Crane Operator certification or license as required by local regulations
- Proven experience operating tower cranes on construction projects
- Strong understanding of crane load charts, lifting techniques, and safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
