About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and other masonry materials according to drawings and specifications.
- Construct walls, foundations, partitions, columns, and other masonry structures.
- Prepare and mix mortar, cement, grout, and concrete to the required consistency.
- Measure, cut, and shape bricks, blocks, and stones using hand and power tools.
- Install lintels, reinforcement, and expansion joints as required.
- Repair damaged masonry structures and perform maintenance work.
- Ensure surfaces are level, plumb, and aligned using measuring tools.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and work instructions.
- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project deadlines.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report material shortages, equipment defects, and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a mason in building construction, commercial, residential, or industrial projects
- Experience in block work, brickwork, plastering, concrete finishing, or stone masonry is preferred

Qualifications

- Experience in block work, brickwork, plastering, concrete finishing, or stone masonry is preferred.
