Overview
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all tooling, jigs, fixtures, and molds to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Manage tool room staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations to foster a skilled and motivated team.
- Implement and maintain a robust tool inventory management system, including tracking, ordering, and storage to minimize downtime and prevent shortages.
- Develop and enforce tool room safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
