About the Role
Mediclinic Middle East seeks an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead the nursing team in the Operating Theatre Complex. The role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing and 3-5 years of senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital.

- Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the nursing team
- Ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards
- Ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagement
- Manage allocated clinical and non clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient care
- Monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute
- At least 3 5 years’ senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital
- Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field
- Desired: 5 10 years senior nursing experience managing an Operating Theatre Complex (including OT, Endoscopy & CSSD)

Main Purpose of Job
- To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences
Key Responsibility Areas

Required Education
- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute
- Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field
Required Experience
- Essential: At least 3 5 years’ senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital
- Desired: 5 10 years senior nursing experience managing an Operating Theatre Complex (including OT, Endoscopy & CSSD)
Required Job Skills And Knowledge
- Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation)
- Presentation Skills

- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Cost management principles
- Demonstrate Nursing functional competence (Nursing practice)
- Demonstrate the ability to manage meetings effectively
- Quality management and governance standards and best practice
- Risk management principles, systems and best practice
- Skilled in the demonstration and assessment of all relevant clinical procedures
- Stock control principles and management
- UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements
