Role Overview

Steel Bending and Reinforcement

• Read structural drawings and Bar Bending Schedules.
• Measure, cut, bend, and fix reinforcement steel according to project specifications.
• Install reinforcement for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, and staircases.
• Check reinforcement spacing, alignment, and tying before concrete pouring.

Masonry and Concrete

• Construct and repair brick, block, and stone walls, foundations, retaining walls, and partitions.
• Perform plastering, rendering, pointing, cement finishing, and masonry repairs.
• Prepare mortar and concrete mixes using appropriate materials and ratios.
• Assist with formwork, concrete placement, and minor structural repairs.

Tile Installation

• Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and natural stone tiles on floors, walls, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas.
• Prepare and level surfaces, cut and fit tiles, and apply adhesives and grout.
• Replace damaged tiles and perform related maintenance and repair work.

Maintenance and Coordination

• Inspect and repair masonry finishes, tiled surfaces, and structural components.
• Work with supervisors, engineers, and other construction trades.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

Tools and Equipment

• Safely operate steel bending machines, rebar cutters, grinders, tile cutters, mixers, concrete vibrators, trowels, and other hand and power tools.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of experience in residential and commercial construction projects.
• Strong experience in steel bending, reinforcement fixing, masonry, plastering, and tile installation.
• Ability to read structural drawings and Bar Bending Schedules.
• Proficiency in construction hand tools and power equipment.
• Good understanding of construction safety standards and quality procedures.
• Physical fitness for lifting, climbing, bending, and prolonged standing.
• Strong English and Hindi communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• A valid UAE driving license is desirable.

Work Environment

• Work takes place on residential and commercial construction projects.
• Indoor and outdoor work may be required, including exposure to varying weather conditions and active construction sites.
• Personal protective equipment is mandatory.

Employment and Pay

• Full-time position in Dubai.
• Pay ranges from AED 859.73 to AED 2,200 per month.
