Software Test Engineer- LMS& LOS Testing

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for LOS and LMS applications.
• Test customer onboarding, loan applications, eligibility, validation, credit appraisal, approval, and sanction.
• Test disbursement, repayment and EMI processing, foreclosure, closure, collections, and overdue management.
• Perform API testing and validate requests, responses, headers, authentication, status codes, and error handling.
• Test integrations with core banking, credit bureau, payment gateway, KYC, and third-party applications.
• Prepare test cases and scenarios, log and track defects, perform SQL database validation, and support UAT.
• Participate in requirements analysis, test planning, and test execution while working with analysts, developers, and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 2 to 6 years of software testing experience.
• Hands-on experience in LOS and/or LMS testing and strong knowledge of lending and loan lifecycle processes.
• Experience in manual testing and API testing using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, HTTP methods, response codes, authentication, and API validations.
• Experience with SQL, database testing, defect management, and test management tools.
• Banking, NBFC, FinTech, or lending domain experience is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹337,991.13 to ₹1,548,010.73 per year.

Workplace

• The work location is in person in Mumbai.
