Testing Technician I

Job Purpose

Key Accountabilities

• Perform routine functional and environmental tests using prescribed plans and work instructions.
• Record test results, log anomalies, and maintain paper and electronic test records.
• Assist senior technicians with test fixtures, instrumentation, and basic equipment checks.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using standard gauges and report non-conformities.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures, including PPE use and disposal of test materials.

Communication

• Communicate internally with the Testing Supervisor, Senior Technicians, and Engineering Teams.
• Coordinate externally with calibration service providers as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical diploma or equivalent in engineering or a related field.
• One to two years of laboratory or manufacturing test experience is preferred.
• Basic proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental chambers.
