Job Purpose
Fabricate GRP/GRE spools using components and shop-floor or isometric drawings.
Work to design and quality specifications and meet schedules while minimizing waste and material rejection.
Workflow Accountabilities
- Use fittings, pipes, and components to fabricate spools according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Inform the assistant foreman of daily output status and report accidents, problems, mistakes, or non-conformities.
- Perform self-quality checks and coordinate with quality control for inspection and release.
HSE and Equipment
- Comply with safety, quality, and environmental procedures and instructions.
- Use personal protective equipment and safety gear during assigned tasks.
- Keep operational areas clean and organized.
- Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and machinery in good working order.
- Report unsafe acts, incidents, and safety violations.
Job-Specific Skills
- Knowledge of different pipe types and components.
- Knowledge of raw materials, associated hazards, material safety data, and resin mixing or dosage.
