2. Gate Management System (GMS And GOC)

Key Responsibilities

• TOS - Design & Architect

• TOS – Application administration (managing user groups & profiles).
• Integration support for PCS (MG & ATLP), GOS, ERP, CRM, ACS, FMS, Maximo, RMS, BI, DB, SOC monitoring, etc.
• TOS - Development, implementation & maintenance (including project coordination with internal teams and vendor/contractor/OEM).
• The following are few of the key responsibilities of this role:
• Monitoring, Operations and performance of TOS to ensure proper functioning and reliability (within agreed SLA).
• In-depth knowledge of Terminal Operating Systems (CATOS, MOST, NAVIS, Jade, Kaleris) for GC, Bulk, Rail, CFS, RORO & Container.
• In-depth knowledge of Databases viz. PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, SQLite, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of Network architecture, Servers/ VMs/ Cloud infra-architecture, Windows Server OS & Linux OS.
• In-depth knowledge of Power BI Dashboards; reporting tools including MS Excel, ppts, word; tools like toad, MSSQL server tool, Filezilla, Postman, Putty; programming languages like PLSQL, C#, .Net, ASP.NET, APIs, Java.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and interact with clients, vendors, and stakeholders professionally, politely & courteously.
• Maintenance Management, development and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules for all TOS systems under supervision, including corrective & planned preventive maintenance.
• TOS AMC Management, Oversee Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) with contractors, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, timely service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Team Supervision, lead a team of maintenance technicians from contractors/vendors/OEMs, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient operation and optimal service delivery.
• Troubleshooting, respond to system malfunctions and breakdowns promptly, coordinating troubleshooting efforts and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Documentation, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service reports, equipment status, and inventory management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Vendor Relations, liaise with suppliers and service providers to procure necessary equipment, spare parts, and technical support, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Safety Compliance, enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for maintenance personnel and adherence to industry standards for system operation and maintenance.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
• Leading projects requirements, design, development, and implementation.
• Identify Project Scope.
• Identify Project stakeholder and Financer.
• Project Planning and Design.
• Discussions with CPD on approach and tendering process.
• Warranty & DLP (defect liability period).
