Position Overview

  • The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for customers, delivering a professional and welcoming experience both in person and over the phone.
  • This role is responsible for managing incoming calls, greeting and directing visitors, and providing general dealership information.
  • In addition to front line customer service, the Receptionist supports administrative functions, including maintaining the customer lounge, assisting with dealer trade coordination, and reviewing deliveries in CDK and One Eighty systems.
  • The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and personable, with strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast paced, team oriented environment while providing exceptional customer service.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for answering and directing all incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner. Provides basic information about the dealership and the Dilawri Group in order to answer inquiries and to refer customers to the appropriate individual or department.
  • Greets and assists customers arriving at the dealership.
  • Welcome customers visiting the Dealership showroom and inquire as to the purpose of their visit.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the customer waiting lounge and ensures it is well stocked.
  • Participate in dealer trade; prepare information for pick up and collect receipts/payments.
  • Reviews deliveries in CDK and One Eighty program.
  • Participate in administrative tasks.

Qualifications Required

  • Demonstrated excellent telephone demeanor and ability to accurately record messages and information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated pleasant, friendly manner.
  • Organizational ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take ownership of problems with a positive attitude and bring them to completion.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under all circumstances to deliver exceptional service to customers.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals.
  • Two (2) years of reception experience, or equivalent.
  • Dealership experience preferred.
  • One Eighty or customer relationship management system experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work full time.
