Role Overview
The Technology Senior Expert - CCGT Assets will manage, optimize, and provide strategic oversight for a combined-cycle gas turbine asset portfolio in Doha.
The role focuses on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, profitability, advanced technologies, and organizational sustainability goals.
The position reports to the Manager of International Asset Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day CCGT asset operations for reliability, efficiency, and corporate quality alignment.
- Develop and execute technical strategies to maximize asset output.
- Supervise maintenance programs to minimize downtime, address performance deficiencies, and extend asset life cycles.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and environmental practices.
- Maintain relationships with regulators, government bodies, industry leaders, and technology providers.
- Analyze performance gaps and develop plans to improve efficiency and financial returns.
- Cascade divisional strategies into sectional business plans.
- Manage sectional budgets and monitor financial performance.
- Lead talent development and sectional people management initiatives.
- Establish performance objectives and motivate technical teams.
