About the role
Manage specialized technical training programmes for recruits and existing staff in support of power plant operations.
The role requires an engineering background and knowledge of the energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize local and overseas technical training roadmaps for managers and technical staff.
- Manage development programmes for new recruits and support progression into technical roles.
- Coordinate scholarships with educational bodies and international institutions.
- Manage training facilities, vendor negotiations, travel arrangements, and visa processing.
- Track L&D expenses, manage budgets, and process invoices through HRMS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory.
- At least 8 years of L&D or training experience in the energy or power sector is essential.
- Experience designing and developing local or national training programmes from the ground up is required.
- English proficiency is mandatory.
- Lotus Notes familiarity is an advantage.
- Arabic and GCC experience are pluses.
