Technicien en maintenance/structures d'aéronefs (ACS - AME-S)

Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Directs periodic inspections and general overhaul and repairs or modifications requiring replacement and assembly of parts. Consults manufacturers manuals for specifications and determines feasibility of repair or replacement. May require FAA aircraft and engine mechanic license.

The chosen applicant will be responsible for conducting aircraft structural maintenance, repair and modification on the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) CC130J Hercules Fleet operated and maintained at 8 Wing Trenton. This position will work directly with the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Contractor Field Office (CFO) at Trenton.

Perform repairs on aircraft structural components. This will include, but not be limited to, the assessment of damage, control of corrosion, repairs, modification and replacement of aircraft structures and structural components using recognized techniques and specialized tools and equipment

Resolve all defects/unserviceabilities including disassembly, replacement and reassembly; and related systems support such as disturbed systems checks and functional checks. according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures

Perform routine maintenance

Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
