Boddington is a flagship Newmont gold and copper operation in Western Australia, located about 130 kilometres south-east of Perth and 16 kilometres from the rural town of Boddington.

This large open-pit mine is among Australia’s biggest gold producers and in 2021 it became the world’s first gold mine to implement an Autonomous Haulage System (driverless haul trucks) – a pioneering step for safety and innovation.

Your impact

You will support safe and reliable gold processing operations by maintaining critical fixed-plant assets to help achieve milling production targets of ~41MTPA.

Working within a large processing environment, you’ll play a key role in equipment reliability, plant availability, and continuous improvement - directly contributing to safe production outcomes.

As part of our team you will

• Monitor, repair, and maintain equipment across a large fixed-plant processing environment
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections across all plant areas
• Perform mechanical maintenance activities within:
• Ball Milling Screening Floatation Filtering Reagents Carbon in Leach (CIL) Circuit Carbon Regeneration Elution Water services
