Key skills for this role
Keep critical underground mining equipment operating safely and reliably. You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul fixed assets including conveyors, crushers, pumps, compressors, fans, feeders, and other underground infrastructure to support safe and efficient production.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on underground fixed assets.
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and complete repairs to required standards.
Support safety programs, inspections, and maintenance documentation.
Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records using SAP CMMS.
Collaborate with planners and operations teams to ensure parts, tools, and resources are available for scheduled work.
Contribute to continuous improvement and maintenance reliability initiatives.
Red Seal Millwright Certification.
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in underground mining.
Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
SAP or CMMS experience is considered an asset.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Remote camp-based operation on a 13x13 rotation with travel days.
12-hour shifts in underground mining conditions.

The expected salary range for this role is CAD $63.35/hr + 10% STIP. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
