Role Overview
The Technical Service Specialist supports diagnostic instruments and customer satisfaction within an assigned territory.
The role includes installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repair, product upgrades, and customer support.
The specialist may take on additional service-organization projects within or outside the country or region.
Service Responsibilities
- Perform installation, preventive maintenance, emergency repair, modifications, and engineering updates at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot instrument, operator, application, and minor reagent problems.
- Prioritize service calls and prepare detailed documentation for each service call.
- Instruct customers on changing instrument parts and applying instrument-related software.
- Implement major product upgrades and coordinate technical support for a specific product group.
