About the Role
Sun Life is seeking a Technical Product Owner to shape the product roadmap for Enterprise Architecture platforms and AI-enabled solutions. You will manage the product backlog, translate stakeholder needs into features, and drive improvements to architecture data and automation.

Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the technical product vision for Enterprise Architecture platforms, data products, automation capabilities, and AI enabled EA solutions
- Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog
- Translate stakeholder needs into product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Partner with Enterprise Architects, platform teams, data and integration teams, security, governance, vendors, and delivery partners
- Drive improvements to architecture repositories, application and technology portfolio data, dashboards, reporting, workflows, integrations, and automation
- Support AI ready architecture data by improving data quality, metadata standards, lineage, and integration patterns
- Facilitate product discovery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, demos, and roadmap reviews
- Define and monitor product success measures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in technology, business, architecture, product management, engineering, or related discipline
- Experience in technical product ownership, product management, business analysis, enterprise architecture, platform management, or technology delivery
- Experience working in an agile delivery environment
- Strong ability to translate complex business and technical needs into product requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture or architecture repository platforms (e.g., Ardoq, ServiceNow, LeanIX)
- Bilingualism (French, English) required for Quebec

Job Description
- The Technical Product Owner, Enterprise Architecture is responsible for shaping and delivering the product roadmap for EA platforms, architecture data capabilities, automation services, and AI enabled EA solutions.
- This role helps evolve the EA Office toward a product oriented operating model.
What will you do?
- Define and communicate the technical product vision for EA platforms.
- Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog.
- Translate stakeholder needs into product features.
- Partner with cross functional teams.
- Drive improvements to architecture repositories and data.
- Support AI ready architecture data.
- Assess and manage technical risks.
- Facilitate product discovery and agile ceremonies.
- Define and monitor product success measures.
- Communicate roadmap trade offs.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in technical product ownership or related field.
- Experience in agile delivery environment.
- Strong ability to translate complex needs into requirements.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Client focused mindset.
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools (Ardoq, ServiceNow, LeanIX, etc.).
- Understanding of architecture data models and AI practices.
- Bilingualism (French, English) required for Quebec.
Salary Range
- Base Pay range: 90,000 140,000 CAD.
