Location and Work Arrangement

  • The role is based in Toronto, Ontario, at 55 York Street.
  • The position is hybrid, with the team working in the office three days per week from Tuesday through Thursday and flexibility during the rest of the week.

Compensation

  • The target hiring range is CA$118,500 to CA$158,000.
  • The position is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.

Role Overview

Own the platform and integration ecosystem and turn complex engineering infrastructure into business value.

Shape REST APIs, webhooks, Connect tools, and interoperability patterns for global enterprise integrations.

Empower developers and partners to build seamless integrations for learning technology.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Own the external API roadmap, including schema design principles and versioning policies.
  • Lead the Docebo Connect product vision, low-code workflow builder, and blueprint library.
  • Track developer experience metrics and conduct research to remove developer friction.
  • Build dashboards for API adoption, integration attach rates, and direct revenue contribution.
  • Research iPaaS and integration standards and make build, buy, or partner recommendations.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales on go-to-market strategies and enterprise deal cycles.
  • Publish integration guides and establish standards for ecosystem security, reliability, and commercial viability.

Experience and Capabilities

  • At least 4 years of B2B SaaS product management experience focused on APIs, SDKs, or iPaaS.
  • Ability to design REST APIs and write OpenAPI specifications.
  • Comfort tracing API calls in production code and reviewing pull requests.
  • Strong platform design judgment and ability to communicate product vision to technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience defining success metrics and using platform data for prioritization and investment.
  • Hands-on API development experience and empathy for developer friction points.
  • Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM, and middleware categories.
  • A software engineering or solutions architecture background is desirable.

Technical Focus

  • The role focuses on APIs, webhooks, SDKs, iPaaS, low-code workflow tooling, and developer experience.
  • The integration ecosystem includes OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM, middleware, event-driven synchronization, and interoperability standards.
  • Docebo Connect uses Workato as its iPaaS OEM technology.
