Role Overview

Technical Office Manager role supporting major Oil & Gas, EPC, infrastructure, and related construction projects.

The role leads technical office personnel and coordinates technical execution with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise engineers, draftsmen, and document controllers in the technical office.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other technical submissions.
  • Ensure designs and technical documents comply with ADNOC standards, specifications, and Oil & Gas regulations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, consultants, clients, and ADNOC representatives.
  • Manage design changes, variations, technical issues, document control, version management, and submission schedules.
  • Prepare technical progress reports and support procurement with compliant material selections and approved vendor lists.

Qualifications and Experience

  • B.Tech, M.Tech, or equivalent degree in any discipline.
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCM, or major infrastructure projects.
  • ADNOC project experience in the UAE is described as highly preferred or required depending on the position.
  • Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, specifications, HSE requirements, project procedures, and work practices.
  • Experience with EPC projects involving oil and gas facilities, pipelines, terminals, or associated infrastructure is preferred.
  • Familiarity with UAE statutory requirements, authority approvals, and local Oil & Gas construction regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and English-language skills.
