- Thorough knowledge of international and local standards for lifting equipment (e.g., ISO, EN, OSHA)
- Strong communication skills

Role Description
- The Technical Manager (Lifting Equipment Inspection) is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi.
- Oversees inspection, testing, and certification of lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Daily responsibilities include planning and supervising inspection operations, reviewing technical reports, and providing guidance to inspection teams.
- Collaborates with clients, recommends technical solutions, and ensures timely delivery of services.
- Implements continuous improvement initiatives, supports R&D, coordinates with other departments, and maintains documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to assess inspection data, identify risks, and recommend solutions.
- Proven experience in team management, including leading inspection teams and mentoring staff.
- Solid background in technical support for lifting equipment issues.
- Experience in R&D related to lifting equipment, safety standards, or inspection methodologies.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
- Relevant certifications in lifting equipment inspection, safety, or NDT are highly beneficial.
- Thorough knowledge of international and local standards for lifting equipment (e.g., ISO, EN, OSHA).
