Job Role
The Technical Interior Design Manager bridges design creativity and technical execution for interior design projects.
The role oversees technical feasibility, functionality, code compliance, project coordination, delivery, and technical leadership.
Technical Coordination and Documentation
- Lead technical coordination and delivery from design development through construction completion.
- Coordinate designers, BIM specialists, draftsmen, and technical staff.
- Align design intent with technical solutions, construction methodologies, detailing, and value engineering.
- Oversee drawings, specifications, schedules, details, material information, and FF&E documentation.
- Review technical documents, submissions, material selections, mock-ups, and construction documentation.
- Provide guidance on GA drawings, RCPs, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and construction documents.
