Responsibilities
- Prepare structural calculations using standard structural design software, ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance with building codes
- Support architects and consultants in developing bespoke technical details using AutoCAD and BIM software
- Assist Engineering Department and subcontractors in preparing technical submittals, including structural design packages, material submittals, RFIs
- Provide technical support to Project Sales team during project execution and bidding stages
- Prepare engineering proposals, cost estimates, and detailed cost breakdowns based on project specifications
- Ensure all design assumptions used in drywall and ceiling systems comply with project requirements and relevant standards
- Maintain and update technical services databases, drawings, and engineering details for efficient project execution
- Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to obtain third party testing reports, certifications, and technical approvals
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within building materials, drywall, ceiling systems, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles and engineering calculations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering related software tools
- Hands on experience with AutoCAD, BIM Software, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, and ETABS
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Overview
- Gemini Technical Industries is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Engineer to join our engineering team at our manufacturing facility in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi.
