Key Responsibilities
- Manage technical design development for interior design, fit-out, and joinery packages across residential, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use developments.
- Coordinate design delivery between consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and client teams.
- Review and manage detailed shop drawings, IFC drawings, joinery details, material submissions, and mock-ups.
- Provide technical expertise in interior architecture, bespoke joinery, fit-out detailing, façade interfaces, and construction methodologies.
- Supervise site execution to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Manage multidisciplinary coordination between Architecture, Interior Design, Structure, MEP, Façade, and Landscape teams.
- Coordinate technical reviews and resolve construction/design clashes during execution stages.
- Coordinate all fit-out and joinery interfaces with contractors and specialist vendors.
- Review RFIs, technical submittals, method statements, and material approvals.
- Conduct site inspections, snagging, de-snagging, and final handover inspections.
- Support value engineering initiatives while maintaining design intent and project quality.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, fire-life safety requirements, and DCD standards.
- Manage authority approvals and coordination with regulatory bodies.
- Oversee procurement coordination for interior finishes, FF&E, and custom joinery packages.
- Monitor contractor performance, construction quality, and installation standards on-site.
- Lead technical workshops and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Prepare technical reports, audit reports, and progress updates for stakeholders.
Preferred Background
- Experience working with reputable developers, contracting companies, or international design consultancies.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale hospitality, residential, mixed-use, and luxury fit-out projects.
- Background in both design consultancy and contractor-side project delivery is highly preferred.
