The Technical Delivery Manager sits between customers, product, and engineering teams.
The role owns solution delivery from initial requirements through deployment.
The position combines project tracking with expectation management, problem solving, and judgment under pressure.
Key responsibilities
- Own customer delivery as the primary implementation contact and manage expectations, timelines, and outcomes.
- Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements for product and engineering teams.
- Scope, prioritize, and deliver solutions with technical teams on time and to a high standard.
- Manage demanding stakeholder conversations and challenge requirements, timelines, or expectations when needed.
- Identify and address risks, dependencies, gaps, edge cases, and issues throughout delivery.
- Engage engineers in technical discussions about assumptions, feasibility, APIs, integrations, workflows, and product limitations.
- Coordinate product, engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders to maintain project momentum.
- Identify recurring delivery challenges and help improve processes and tools.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of customer-facing experience in technical delivery, implementation, consulting, solutions engineering, technical account management, or a similar role.
- Strong customer-facing experience and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Technical credibility with APIs, integrations, system workflows, technical requirements, and product limitations.
- Demonstrated delivery and project management skills with strong ownership and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, negotiation, judgment, and expectation-setting skills.
- A proactive, organized approach and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
