About the Role
International Maritime Industries is looking for a QC Technical Clerk to support the QC team with document management, inspection tracking, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project documents in existing file management systems
- Generate and review certification document packages for quality assurance reviews
- Work closely with contractors, sub contractors, QA/QC team members to ensure document management requirements are met
- Development of meeting minutes and administrative tasks to support the QC team
- Compile and review data to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive documents and establish record retention timelines
- Create and update ISO procedures, work instructions and forms
- Convert DWG files to PDF format; scan files and electronically store them into various databases
- Construct PowerPoint presentations for annual management reviews and plant reviews
- Perform general management duties including timekeeping and payroll submission for welfare department
- Prepare and maintain the QC personnel leave schedule
- Prepare and maintain the register for QC tools calibration, issuance, and return
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Experience in document management or quality control support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Job Purpose / Objective
- QC technical clerk is responsible for supporting the QC team in terms of inspection forecast, track RFI & punch items, technical support to develop QC procedures & standards and support QA/QC support manager in maintaining QA/QC applications.
Key Accountabilities
- Create and maintain project documents in existing file management systems. Generate and review certification document packages for quality assurance reviews.
- Work closely with contractors, sub contractors, quality assurance, and quality control team members to ensure QA/QC and project requirements for document management are being met.
- Development of meeting minutes and administrative tasks as necessary to support the QC team.
- Compile and review data to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive documents and establish/maintain record retention timelines.
- Handle records across various departments, keep other personnel updated on new document versions.
- Create and update ISO procedures, work instructions and forms.
- Convert DWG files to PDF format; scan files and electronically store them into various databases.
- Construct PowerPoint presentations for annual management reviews and plant reviews.
- Perform general management duties, including management of timekeeping and submission of weekly payroll forms for welfare department employment.
