Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed quantity take offs and measurements of materials, equipment, and labor for shipyard projects.
- Provide regular financial reports and updates to project stakeholders.
- Assess and quantify variations and additional work requests.
- Monitor project costs throughout its lifecycle and control costs effectively.
- Prepare project invoices and follow up on related payments.
- Participate in procurement process, preparing and evaluating tender documents.
- Play a key role in contract administration and manage contractual relationships.
- Assess and manage financial risks associated with projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or Equivalent)
- At least 3 6 years of experience with shipyard industry
- PMP Certificate preferable (but not essential)

Job Purpose / Objective
- Professional expertise in cost management, procurement, and financial control to ensure successful delivery of projects within defined budget and client satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
- Quantity Measurement: Conduct detailed quantity take offs and measurements of materials, equipment, and labor required for shipyard projects.
- Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and updates to project stakeholders.
- Calculation of Payment Amount: Use agreed upon valuation methods to calculate payment amounts based on completion percentage.
- Cost Estimation / Variation Assessment: Assess and quantify variations and additional work requests.
- Assessing Work Completed: Work with project teams to assess progress of work completed.
- Cost Control: Monitor project costs throughout lifecycle and manage cost variations.
- Invoicing: Prepare project invoices and follow up on payments.
- Procurement and Tendering: Participate in procurement process and evaluate tender documents.
- Contract Management: Prepare and review contract documents, negotiate terms, manage relationships.
- Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks, ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or Equivalent)
- PMP Certificate preferable (but not essential)
- At least 3 6 years of experience with shipyard industry.
