About the Role
International Maritime Industries seeks a Document Controller I, QC to manage project documentation and quality records. You will create and maintain documents, support QA/QC teams, and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project documents in existing file management systems
- Generate and review certification document packages for quality assurance reviews
- Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, QA/QC team members to ensure document management requirements are met
- Development of meeting minutes and administrative tasks to support the construction team
- Interpret contract specifications and applicable standards for project document management
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive documents and establish record retention timelines
- Collect and register all technical documents such as drawings and blueprints in the company's system
- Support field inspection personnel in materials documentation processes
- Scan and upload documents according to Company procedure
- Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures
Requirements
- Diploma/Graduation from university
- Minimum 4 to 6 years experience in quality works of marine engineering industries (ship & rig building)
- Competency certificate in Document Control
- Competency certificate in Microsoft Office tools
- ISO 9001:2015 Auditor or Lead Auditor Certificate
- Good knowledge of Quality Management System
- Excellent knowledge of documentation, computer operation, procedures & ERP systems
- Physically fit and able to work in extreme climatic conditions

Job Purpose / Objective
- Contribute to effective project quality management through proper management and control of project documentation and records.
Key Accountabilities

- Good HSE knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of documentation, computer operation, ERP systems
- Excellent use of MS Office packages
