About the Role

- Assist team in resolving highly complex, multi faceted problems to meet the needs of Projects and Compliance
- Conduct research and analysis, accurately and clearly define user requirements and processes, and liaise with users
- Work closely with product owner to iron out user stories and maintain a healthy backlog for prioritization
- Participate in systems implementation process by developing test cases, performing testing, defining user procedures and workflows
- Provide business support to Operations and Compliance group, including ad hoc queries, user training, and assisting with design and implementation of systems enhancements
- Actively communicate with management and update on cases and/or issues that escalated appropriately
- Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of business strategies, risk management practices, product offerings, financial markets, and technology
Requirements
- Experience handling requirements of applications using APIs, Batch process and Reporting servers
- Creative, self starting, results oriented, highly motivated with very good analytical skills
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills
- Well versed with current IT practices, systems development techniques, including requirements specification and testing methodologies
- Undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, computer science or related discipline
- Prior experience in wealth and/or lending products
- Well versed with various financial product offerings in Canadian lending market
- Customer first mindset
- Working knowledge of Agile development skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Solid knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, JIRA, Confluence

Overview

- Client Delivery within Global Wealth Management Technology is looking for a Technical Business Lead Analyst who is responsible for the requirements and documentation of user stories.
- This team is engaged in modernization of some of the strategic applications in GWMT.
- Reporting to the Senior Manager Development.
In this role you will
- Assist team in resolving highly complex, multi faceted problems to meet the needs of Projects and Compliance, by applying their financial and technological knowledge to the design of methodologies, models, and/or systems solutions.
- Conducting research and analysis, accurately and clearly defining user requirements and processes, and liaising with the users.
- Working closely with product owner on business side to iron out user stories and maintain a healthy backlog for prioritization
- Participate in the systems implementation process by developing test cases, performing testing, defining user procedures and workflows, developing conversion and implementation strategies, verifying conversion, providing user documentation, providing user training, and providing post implementation
- Provide business support to Operations and Compliance group, including ad hoc queries, user training, and assisting with the design and implementation of systems enhancements.
- Actively communicate with management, and update on cases and/or issues that escalated appropriately.
- Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of the business strategies and policies, risk management practices and methodologies, product offerings, financial markets, financial instruments, regulatory requirements, and rapidly changing technology to be able to provide effective business solutions and

- Experience of handling requirement of application using APIs, Batch process and Reporting servers.
- Seeking someone creative, self starting, results oriented, and highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills to apply this knowledge to assist in the resolution of complex business problems.
- Possess very good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with end users and members of a project team.
- Well versed with current IT practices, systems development techniques, including requirements specification and testing methodologies, real time analytical and formal modelling tools, and keep current with rapidly changing technology.
- A recognized under graduate degree in business, mathematics, computer science or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in wealth and or Lending products.
- Well versed with various financial product offerings in Canadian lending market.
- Customer first mindset while providing technology solutions to business problems.
- Working knowledge of Agile development skills
