Responsibilities
- Support the Wholesaler by following up on meetings, road shows, events and web casts
- Initiate phone contact with clients to begin or expand relationships (20 activity points/calls per day)
- Maintain archive of product, policy, and procedure information for client dissemination
- Ensure regional events and road shows are well attended via outbound call campaigns
- Make daily Purchase and Redemption calls to identify trends, prospects and first time tickets
- Create broadcast emails with marketing and product information to advisors
- Data mine using Diagnostic Selling Process and populate CRM system
- Assist wholesaler in segmentation of client base to define service levels
- Act as liaison with Product Manager to set up Manager meetings, conference calls and web casts
- Escalate client issues to appropriate department and wholesaler
- Assist wholesaler in developing strategic business plan and review quarterly
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- CSC or IFIC certification
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience
- Minimum 5+ years of management experience and managing a territory
- Bilingual is an asset

What You Will Be Doing
- Supports the Wholesaler by promptly following up on meetings, road shows, events and web casts
- Initiates phone contact with clients to begin or expand on existing relationships (20 activity points or calls a day)
- Keeps an archive of all relevant information pertaining to products, policies, procedures and rules for dissemination to clients
- Ensures regional events and road shows are well attended by using outbound call campaigns
- Occasionally travels and attends individual meetings; attends meetings with wholesaler at least once a month
- Collaborates with SA to determine priorities and tasks
- Makes daily Purchase and Redemption calls to identify trends, prospects and first time tickets
- Creates broadcast emails with pertinent marketing and product information to advisors via ODD filters
- Data Mines using Diagnostic Selling Process & Populates CRM system (OOD) with information from calls and surveys
- Participates in national, regional, departmental and project group meetings
- Assists wholesaler in segmentation of client base to define service levels and ensure sales from various distribution channels (250 400)
- Acts as liaison with Product Manager to set up Manager meetings, conference calls and web casts
Skills
- Minimum Bachelors degree in a field such as Commerce, Finance, Business Administration
- CSC or IFIC certification; CFP or CIM
- Bilingual is an asset
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience
- Minimum 5+ years of management experience and managing a territory
