Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for digital banking initiatives
- Create detailed user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and maintain API specifications, integration documents, and data mapping artefacts
- Analyze integrations between digital channels and core banking systems
- Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, and solution reviews
- Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and ensure complete traceability from requirement to testing
- Support SIT, UAT, defect triage, and production release activities
- Perform gap analysis and impact assessments for change requests and enhancement initiatives
- Ensure documentation quality, version control, and compliance with banking and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Technical Business Analysis
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Digital Banking, FinTech, or Banking Technology projects
- Strong understanding of retail banking, digital channels, onboarding, lending, payments, and customer journeys
- Experience with core banking platforms such as Finacle, FLEXCUBE, Nucleus, TSYS, FIS, or similar systems
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and integration architecture
- Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
- Understanding of JSON, XML, API authentication, authorization, and error handling
- Experience in data mapping, integration specifications, and system interface documentation
- Familiarity with microservices based architecture and middleware integrations
- Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Hands on experience with Jira and Confluence

- Ability to collaborate effectively with QA and development teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
- CBAP, PMI PBA, BCS BA Certification, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Prior experience in UAE/GCC banking projects will be a strong advantage.
