Dar Al Yusr is seeking an experienced

Technical & Asset Readiness Manager

to lead technical assurance and asset readiness activities for a large-scale project.

The role will be responsible for reviewing building systems, validating asset readiness, assessing technical risks, and ensuring that assets are prepared for safe, compliant, and efficient operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical specialists across relevant disciplines.
  • Oversee technical reviews of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, utilities, BMS/SCADA, ELV, and related infrastructure systems.
  • Assess design intent, maintainability, operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of assets prior to handover.
  • Lead asset readiness and handover activities, including documentation reviews, site walkdowns, punch-list follow-up, and defect rectification tracking.
  • Develop and maintain asset criticality, risk, and readiness frameworks to identify reliability issues, performance gaps, spare parts risks, and operational constraints.
  • Advise on lifecycle performance, energy efficiency, maintenance strategies, system optimization, and long-term asset management requirements.
  • Support the development of maintenance frameworks, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, asset data structures, and O&M readiness requirements.
  • Coordinate with commissioning, engineering, asset management, CAFM/CMMS, HSE, and operational teams to confirm readiness for operation.
  • Review commissioning reports, performance test results, asset documentation, equipment lists, SOPs, maintenance plans, and readiness checklists.
  • Prepare asset readiness assessment reports, risk registers, executive briefings, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Escalate technical risks and readiness gaps to leadership and support closure of critical action items.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer registration or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
  • Master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.
  • Minimum
  • 15 years of professional experience
  • in large-scale infrastructure, high-profile facilities, critical infrastructure, energy, utilities, or complex project environments.
  • At least
  • 5 years of experience
  • in project management, asset management, commissioning, or O&M readiness on complex multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, BMS/SCADA, commissioning, asset handover, maintenance readiness, and lifecycle asset performance.
  • Familiarity with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and operational readiness practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, analyze technical risks, solve complex problems, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, proactive, and capable of working in a demanding project environment.
