Role Overview
The role is for a Teamcenter AWC Developer with 5–7 years of experience.
The primary focus is Siemens Teamcenter Active Workspace development and configuration.
Active Workspace Development
- Configure and customize Teamcenter Active Workspace based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain AWC declarative customizations.
- Create custom commands, command handlers, and command placements.
- Design custom panels, views, and UI components in AWC.
- Configure table views, column arrangements, table behaviors, and folder content organization.
Teamcenter Customization
- Perform AWC and Teamcenter UI customizations using declarative frameworks.
- Modify and maintain stylesheet configurations.
- Implement business-specific solutions through Teamcenter configuration and customization.
- Troubleshoot issues related to customizations, deployments, and configurations.
Administration and Support
- Manage and support Dispatcher Administration Console configurations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot dispatcher jobs and file translations.
- Support Teamcenter administration activities related to AWC customization.
- Coordinate deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
Technical Collaboration
- Work with solution architects and business analysts to understand requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Prepare technical design documents and user guides.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to junior developers.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
- The role requires 5–7 years of Siemens Teamcenter PLM experience.
- Strong experience with Active Workspace configuration and customization is required.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter Data Model, BMIDE concepts, deployments, and environment management is required.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, HTML, JavaScript, and REST services is required.
Technical Skills
- Required technical areas include classification administration, AWC commands and panels, table configuration, declarative customization, stylesheet customization, folder content organization, and customization troubleshooting.
- Experience with Teamcenter workflows, access management, Git, and Agile/Scrum is preferred.
- Siemens Teamcenter certification is an added advantage.
