Position Summary
The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and controlling daily production activities on the shop floor to ensure the achievement of production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing technicians, ensuring material availability, and driving operational efficiency in alignment with flatpack furniture manufacturing requirements.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong machine knowledge related to production processes
- Understanding of joinery and manufacturing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Cut Rite, and MS Excel
- Strong team coordination and collaboration
- Attention to detail and quality focus
- Quick decision-making and problem-solving ability
- Accountability and ownership mindset
- Basic understanding of flatpack production workflow is an advantage
